You see I am now living in this place they call a shelter which is okay I guess because every dog needs somewhere to go. The people here try very hard but they have so much to do for so many dogs. I know I can t expect to have their attention for very long. I do appreciate it when they can spend a few minutes with me and make me feel special. But before I go to sleep each night I wonder will tomorrow be the day someone adopts me Like most rescue dogs Spirit dreams of having a family and home of her own. We don t know how she ended up in a shelter but we do know she will make a great pet if given the chance. At just 12 lbs. Spirit isn t asking for much. She s peppy but not a high energy dog who needs to run several miles each day. All she asks is for someone who will take her for daily walks give her good food proper care and lots of love. Spirit s long past the crazy puppy stage. She s a grown-up and acts like one. Given her small size she will make an ideal companion for someone who likes to travel with their dog. At just 12-lbs she will easily fit in a carrier under an airplane seat. Like most shelter dogs Spirit may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained. She gets along well with other dogs but has not yet been tested with cats. The adoption fee for this dog is 350 which includes the cost of routine vetting including vaccinations and spay neuter.
