Go the Extra Mile for Covenant Kids is one facet of ongoing philanthropic activities in our community that support Covenant Kids a dedicated fund specifically intended to enhance the care of children faced with hospitalization at Covenant HealthCare and their families. Again this year Covenant Kids has included a lower priced category for Youth runners aged twelve and under. Covenant HealthCare recognizes the importance of keeping kids active and is encouraging kids to Go the Extra Mile for their peers with lower registration charges. Please note change in start times for all events Back by popular demand for this year s event will be the addition of a Pace Team free to athletes to sign up with to help meet individual finish time goals It s very motivating to run with a pace team and these pacers are experienced marathoners that travel the country doing this so it s going to be awesome having them with us in Saginaw.
