Lincolnton GA 30817 Please apply in person Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 30 p.m. HVAC Technician compensation According to experience employment type full-time Position Summary The HVAC Technician performs a variety of skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection diagnosing repair installation and alteration of heat and air conditioning systems and related equipment. In addition to the above you will perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment. Demonstrates and provides outstanding customer and employee relations at all times. Presents in a neat and clean appearance at all times. We offer excellent benefits that include Health insurance Vacation and holiday pay 401K Work van with gas card BonusesScope of Duties Job Description Troubleshoot inspect maintain repair and modify equipment including air conditioning compressors condensers fans & motors Schrader valves filters belts and metering devices. Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on heat air conditioning equipment and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Be available to work nights holiday and or weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of our customers. Operate a variety of hand and power tools welder torch vacuum pump test equipment utilized in the trade maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition maintain parts and tool inventory. Complete invoice tickets at time of appointment and turn in the next morning with collected money. Perform other duties as assigned.Job Requirements Experience and Skill Requirements Graduation from high school Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade. Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Materials methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC systems. Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade. Welding and soldering techniques. Health and safety regulations. 5 years residential service experience preferred Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check Must have an insurable driving record Able to work well with the teamCertificates & Licenses Valid Driver s License EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery Certification NATE certified is preferred but not required
