HOURS Mon Fri 8 00AM 5 00PM JOB SUMMARY Responsible for receiving stocking shipping and maintaining inventory of all center supplies and equipment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Receives and ships all property and issues same. Maintains perpetual inventory and is responsible for inventory control and accountability of supplies and equipment. Prepares actual inventory monthly prior to book closing. Posts and maintains inventory records in accordance with Department of Labor and center guidelines. Maintains control numbers on all documents and a master control over numbers of documents used. Prepares necessary reports for submission to the Department of Labor as required by the Code of Federal Regulations ET Handbooks Federal Procurement Regulations and other pertinent directions for property list certification at least once a year. Screens excess property list for possible utilization on center. Arranges for disposition of excess materials in accordance with procedures as stated in the Property Handbook. Create and audit custodian logs. Procures supplies materials and equipment from General Services Administration (GSA) self-service store and other vendors. REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Minimum Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. One year s experience in property inventory control capacity. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with a proven record of quality customer service. Model Company Core ValuesPreferred Bachelor s degree in a related field plus Job Corps experience. Knowledge Required Knowledge of Government property management requirements and procedures desired. Must be able to obtain required State s driver s license. Good computer and typing skills required. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Good organizational skills. All post offer candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
