Responsibilities Administrative Responsibilities Provides high-level administrative support for Corporate Communications & Public Affairs staff Involved in the administration and tracking of the department budget including expenses purchase orders invoices and other documentation Contacts and arranges communications very effectively with internal external sources including other executives consultants media and others Responsible for heavy calendar management requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants as well as consultants to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings Assists other personnel in resolving concerns issues & needs (as appropriate) Handles incoming and outgoing electronic communications and phone calls on behalf of the Vice President and staff Produces and proofs presentation materials Reviews and summarizes miscellaneous reports and documents Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner Arrange travel schedule and reservations for staff as needed Work successfully with all businesses and departments across FMC Orders supplies as needed Support management of confidential records Communcations Coordinator Responsibilities Help maintain internal digital photo website Manage administration of the FMC Philanthropy program that includes processing and tracking of payments request forms and coordination with outside administrative firm Logistics planning and support for major company events including employee Town Hall meetings annual stockholders meeting and similar events Manage media calls promptly guiding requests to appropriate spokesperson in corporate or within a business unit Assist with distribution of press releases via PR Newswire or other distribution vendor Required Education At least 8-10 years prior experience required supporting senior-level management A certification program associates or college degree is a plus Strong expertise in MS Office programs- PowerPoint Excel Word Experience in SAP a plus Ability to set-up and manage SharePoint sites Ability to learn new technologies and database systems Able to learn the key FMC business processes to ensure vendors are paid in a timely fashion other administrative demands are met Should be flexible and adaptable to changing environments Will be required to follow through with all projects until final delivery Candidate needs to work well in a team environment and take projects on from multiple staff members Position requires a strong customer service disposition the ability to deal with numerous departments and a candidate with strong attention to detail Open to working early morning or later hours as needed Competencies Action Oriented Approachability Comfort Around Higher Management Composure Creativity Customer Focus Drive for Results Integrity & Trust Listening Organizing Planning Priority Setting Time Management
