Biblical food laws

KJV Bible study guide on food laws. Leviticus 11 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron saying unto them Leviticus 11 2 Speak unto the children of Israel saying These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.Leviticus 11 3-46... (Clean and unclean animals for food listed here).Leviticus 11 47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. My thoughts are in parentheses (Many would say that these laws are meant for the children of Israel only. Then let me ask you a question. Did God make their bodies any different than our bodies of today If anyone has biblical proof of this please share with me. God created all humans and He knows what is good for us and what will make us sick as in unclean animals consumed as food). 1 Timothy 4 4 For every creature of God is good and nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving (Many will use this verse to say it tells us we can eat anything. Far too many fail to read the verse ahead of this one verse 3 see it below). 1 Timothy 4 3 Forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from meats which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (The key words in this verse are which God created to be received . Did God create all animals to be received as food The answer would be no Are scavengers such as buzzards and swine created to be received as food for us humans No the purpose for which God created all animals is good. He created some to be consumed as food and He created some to keep our earth clean from filth and poison such as scavengers like buzzards and swine). Acts 10 10-17... (Again many would say these verses tell us we can eat anything. That is not the subject of these verses. For the subject please read the next verse). Acts 10 28 And he said unto them Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company or come unto one of another nation but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. (God showed Peter with the sheets of unclean animals that he should not call any man common or unclean. Most fail to read past verse 17 and omit this very important verse (Acts 10 28) connect the dots get the whole picture). Study your Bibles cover to cover don t omit any part of it. Please reply if you wish to do so.
