Summer is the best time for kids to brush up on basic skills and acquire new ones before the start of the school year Academic Coaching has quality tutors specializing in most elementary subjects and more A coach is not only a mode of travel used to carry passengers from one location to another. A coach is also an individual (or individuals) who motivate and inspire others while applying strategies that lead to favorable outcomes. Academic Coaching s philosophical approach to tutoring is to employ cognitive (learning) theories of psychology and other teaching methods to carry students from one level to the next which will improve their overall academic performance Coaching rates are 20 per one-hour session with a minimum of two sessions per week. One and a half-hour sessions are available at a rate of 30 with a minimum of two sessions per week. Coaching sessions can take place either at the pupil s home or some other quiet location. The art and science of teaching combined with psychology principles of motivation and coaching techniques are what separate Academic Coaching from the competition.
