First Christian Academy is a Private Christian School with a Early Child Development Center. We are currently looking for accepting teachers positions for the next school year 2015 16. Grade Levels PK Kindergarten Primary (grades 1-3) Secondary (grades 4-6) Jr Sr High (grades 7-12th ) Looking for teachers and caregivers wanting a Career in a Christian Ministry-- Not Just a Job Our Mission is to keep our classroom sizes manageable -- max of 14 students and our educational philosophy is to assess each student and then begin teaching them where they are. Our curriculum is individualized and hands on. Pre K Dept is the only school in Pearland that is part of the U of T Texas Ready Program. Our curiculum is The Letter People Primary Dept Curriculum is Saxon Math and Language Art and Core Knowledge Secondary and Jr Sr High Curriculum is mulifacet but the Core Curriculum is A.C.E Curriculum. Overall Requirements Education Min. AAA working towards a BA Knowledge of Minimum Standards Able to Pass Felony Background Check Fingerprinting (able to get fingerprinted within 24hrs) Minimum of 2yrs of Experience working as a Lead Teacher .
