Seldin Company is seeking an experienced Roving Property Manager in the Central and Eastern Iowa region. The Roving Property Manager will ensure that the operations of the property(s) in assigned area of oversight are in compliance with the standards and expectations of Seldin Company and property specific goals. Utilize management skills to assist with training and work work with Area Training Manger Regional Supervisor to assist in training existing staff. Associates are required to actively participate in industry organizations and associations to continue education within the field for knowledge growth and skill building. Travel will be required upon assignment. Upon assignment will cover for absent site staff or train existing site staff to the level of performance to meet expectations of job descriptions. b. Upon assignment will instruct and train site staff to the level of performance to meet expectations of property management operations as written and described in the Property Management Handbook. c. Ensure the understanding and effective use of property management accounting and personnel-related software instructing staff on proper usage as necessary. Education Licenses or Certificates Required Associate s degree or equivalent or related field from a two year college or technical school Communication Skills Required Excellent verbal communication skills organization skills attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and the ability to work independently and exercise judgment are essential. Experience Required Three to four years related experience and or training. Skills The following attributes are desirable for job success experience in managing multifamily properties ability to supervise staff property management software experience ability to communicate effectively safety conscious ability to assert yourself ability to work well under pressure self-motivation and self-direction ability to work with without direct supervision and the ability to develop a team and be a team leader. Transportation Must have dependable vehicle to transport tools and equipment to job sites as needed valid driver s license and proof of liability insurance.
