Manufacturing Estimator
Our client a large fast-paced manufacturing company located near Burlington MA is seeking an Estimator to develop price quotations for its custom machined parts. Responsible for calculating production costs using established labor rates material and processing price estimates ordering and coordinating raw material supply controlling job production and working with manufacturing to generate reports and improve processes. Must have a minimum of five years estimating experience working in a machining or engineering related industry. Experience working with medium to highly complex components including setup and operation of a diverse range of machine tools. Experience with CNC equipment is a strong plus. Estimating experience in defense aerospace or oil and gas industries is preferred. Must have strong estimating communication organizational multi-tasking MS Office and ERP skills. Must have the ability to analyze engineering drawings (GD& T and 2D) BOM s and specifications and possess the knowledge of machine shop procedure and types of tooling.
