Equal Opportunity Analyst

Provides strategic and tactical support for initiatives within the Office of Equal Opportunity. Creates tools and or queries to obtain data from central data repository and external sources for the purpose of reporting and analysis. Manage statistical and reporting aspects of the University s Equal Opportunity programs through planning organizing coordinating and reporting for the OSU main campus and branch campuses including determining requirements and procedures for implementation of University-wide actions. Collect and analyze data to generate required Equal Opportunity reports and coordinate all data compilation for the Equal Opportunity affirmative action plan vendor design formats and forms for data collection and write programs using TSO JCL and FOCUS. Responsible for coordinating actions affecting the recruitment and hiring process of faculty and administrative positions in a timely manner. Coordinate all advertisements for compliance with EEO requirements and objectives. Provide guidance and aid in implementation as needed to EEO Officer regarding EEO regulations. Other duties as assigned. May require travel to professional conferences and travel to other OSU campuses. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required. Some learning sessions may take place in evenings to accommodate staff working evening shifts. Required qualifications Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Higher Education Administration or other relevant discipline. Minimum of two (2) years professional level Human Resources or AA EEO experience. Technical personnel experience with primary emphasis on equal employment opportunity or affirmative action responsibilities. Demonstrated experience with the calculation and interpretation of statistics through work or schooling. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (to include creating formulas). Experience with an HRIS System. Ability to travel to conduct outreach activities within the state of Oklahoma. Experience with AAP software and Applicant Tracking systems preferred. Preferred Master s degree in Human Resources Higher Education Administration or other relevant discipline. Four (4) years professional experience developing AA Programs to assure compliance with Executive Order 11246 the Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act. Experience supporting or leading at least one OFCCP compliance evaluation or the implementation of a significant rule change to OFCCP guidelines. Experience with the calculation and interpretation of statistics used in affirmative action planning. Current knowledge of Executive Order 11246 Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended and the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) of 1974 as amended and supports compliance with other federal state and local employment laws regulations and ordinances. Ability to develop an understanding of multiple points of view on a variety of EEO related issues and develop appropriate consensus among stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Word (to include formatting and tables) Microsoft Excel (to include creating formulas and conducting statistical analysis) HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (to include query development).
