Position Overview Job 2300 We have been hired by our client for recruiting an outgoing motivated detail orientated Shipper Receiver in Prince George. This is a one year long term contract working from Monday - Friday full time hours Responsibilities Fill & ship orders as provided by the customer service department. Work closely with couriers for prompt delivery of goods. Unload stock transfer freight and products from other suppliers. Put all stock not going out the door in its appropriate space. Prepare orders & Bag n Tag orders in a timely manner. Cut & produce custom size pads for orders when required and for stocked pads kept for special customers. Notify customers & couriers when the orders are ready for pick up Document waybill in log book. Match all shipping paperwork (picking slips and packing slips with order write ups and sales orders for invoicing purposes) and provide to appropriate department for filing or forwarding. Organize inventory and ensure that inventory is rotated on a regular basis. Maintain a neat organized and safe warehouse at all times. Requirements Friendly and very customer service oriented. Capable of prioritizing orders & working in a fast paced environment. Takes Initiative to keep busy in slower periods Must be proficient in paying attention to detail & part numbers. Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50lbs. Must be capable of following instructions and paying attention to details & part numbers. Must be capable of working independently and as part of our team.
