Accounts Assistant

Duties will include Assisting in the smooth running of the accounts department Liasing with the accountants Processing invoices & credit notes Bank reconciliation Entering invoices onto SAGE accounting system correctly Scanning & Filing Petty cash Month end preperation & procedures Daily receipts Customer & supplier enquiries Dealing with incoming outgoing phone calls emails & post Liaising with customers suppliers Journal posting Preparing quarterly VAT returns for the accountants to overview General administration duties Essential skills & experience SAGE 50 SAGE Instant experience Previous accounts department experience Excellent organisational skills Must be willing to undertake a variety of administration duties Attention to detail accuracy Excellent communication skills telephone manner Good IT skills with Word Excel and Outlook required The role would suit someone who already has good knowledge of Sage accounts and would enjoy working in a small friendly office environment where they can become part of a team. 24 hours per week.
