Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers provide in-home pet sitting and dog walking for our client s pets usually within a 10 mile radius of their home. Please understand if you don t live in Chula Vista area the price of gas may make this job not worthwhile to you but we do not discriminate in hiring. This position is for Spring Valley area. The work schedule varies depending on the client s needs and may include mornings mid-day afternoons and evenings. Weekends and holidays are also common. All sitters are hired as part-time Independent Contractors and paid a flat rate of 60% per visit completed. Please visit www.belovedpetsit.com to see our services and rates. Qualifications Must possess a passion for animals Must have commitment to consistently provide excellent service High school diploma or equivalent Work or volunteer experience in the animal community preferred Minimum five (5) years experience with dogs and cats (this can include raising your own pets) Excellent communication skills via phone text and e-mail strong computer skills Follow up and time management skills Must possess a certification in Pet CPR and First Aid or agree to get certified within 4 months of hire Must posses Pet Sitting Insurance and business license prior to first days work Reliable car with proof of car insurance coverage when transporting pets A smartphone with texting capabilities & internet access and home computer with internet access is preferred due to the nature of communication with clients 1 year commitment preferred Must be able to pass a criminal background check. 25 deposit required.
