Built between the years of 1958-1967 This is a 2 slice toaster I don t think 4 slice were being made for the home just yet.Drop one slice of bread in the toaster and it automatically goes down yes on it s own. If you want 2 pieces of toast now is when you add the second piece of bread.The measurements are as follows 7 Tall 8.5 wide without handles. With handles it measures 11 .
