Technical Assistant to Electrical Engineering

Our client a small dynamic company located in Nashua NH is seeking a high-energy hands-on flexible Technical Assistant for its Electrical Engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who doesn t want to sit in a cubicle all day. Someone who enjoys a wide variety of projects a diverse work environment and who wants to grow and learn. Responsible for electro-mechanical assembly of prototypes and small production runs troubleshooting repair and ECO work (thru-hole and SMT) wiring racks panels and kitting for larger production runs. Work with outside vendors obtain and process quotes for parts and supplies place and review orders. Enter and maintain BOM s project records documentation and spreadsheets. Must have strong communication multi-tasking and time management skills. Strong technical aptitude (electrical and mechanical) computer skills (basic IT knowledge and ability to use MS Office). Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics and board layouts. Must be willing and able to serve as backup for various departments. Ability to travel is a plus but not required. Minimum of an Associate s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline with 0 to 3 years of experience is required. Entry level recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
