Skill Requirements Full skillset of Refrigeration Air Conditioning as well as A A Heat Pump and GeoExchange Heat pump installation and servicing including complete hardware with ground and ocean loop layout capabilities. Education Completion of high school Experience Over 3 years Languages Speak English Read English Weight Handling Up to 18 kg (40 lbs). Coordinate installation of heavy HVAC R and GeoExchange equipment including directing cranes and excavators. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems Heat pump Air motioning and circulation A A Heat Pump and GeoExchange Heat systems Control Systems Programmable logic controllers (PLC) Direct Digital Control systems. Job Duties Install and troubleshoot all types of heating ventilating air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC R) systems to discern the parts and labour necessary to repair them with a zero call-back objective Organize schedule and coordinate repairs with all parties necessary in the installation and or repair project Ensure proper levels of shop and van parts refrigerant line sets welding materials nitrogen reclaim drums preventative maintenance (PM) parts regularly used installation pieces components and hardware such as pipe strapping screws drain fittings vinyl drain line electrical tape etc. Additional Skills Measure and lay out reference points for installation Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components Measure cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment Commission systems and test for leaks using testing devices Perform routine maintenance and servicing Install troubleshoot repair and overhaul entire heating ventilation air handling refrigeration and air conditioning systems Handle recover and store refrigerants Install calibrate and repair control systems Test and repair electronic components Read blueprints as well as layout equipment for dependent trades.
