Employee Assistance Program Psychologist

This position will be under the umbrella of University Health Services and provide diagnostic and assessment services to OSU faculty and staff on personal or social issues that may interfere with job performance or work relationships. When appropriate refer employees and or family members for assistance to campus community or state agencies for treatment or other help i.e. financial medical vocational legal etc. This consists of providing one-on-one couples or family intake sessions for assessment or diagnosis of OSU faculty and staff. This position will also allocate time to assisting with the counseling of students on campus. Provides mental health resources through individual counseling and crisis intervention. The staff member will perform administrative duties provide emergency crisis intervention provide consultation to members of the university community provide educational outreach programs and could periodically have the opportunity to supervise practicum and intern graduate students. Required Earned doctorate (Ph.D. Ed.D. Psy.D.) in counseling psychology or related discipline with a minimum of one year post-doctoral experience in mental health. Part of the applicants experience should include prevention education and treatment of substance abuse. Demonstrated competency in clinical group and outreach skills. Must be licensed or license eligible Psychologist in Oklahoma. If license eligible must be fully licensed within six months of hire.
