Oklahoma State University Department of Art Graphic Design and Art History Stillwater OK invites applications for a one year full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Sculpture 3D with a start date of August 2018. Salary is 40 000. Duties include a 4 4 teaching load. The candidate will teach introductory level and upper division courses in Sculpture and 3D design. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining the studio and equipment (for wood and metal fabrication) purchasing supplies implementing safety protocols and training and supervising a student lab monitor. Candidates must have an MFA (or a terminal degree in a related field of study) at the time of appointment a record of teaching experience and evidence of successful professional activity. The successful candidate will have experience teaching at the college level. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of media and have expertise in use of CNC machines laser cutters and 3D printers. Experience using 3D software such as Rhino as well as Illustrator and Photoshop is highly desirable.
