Need a vet that cares---been a client at Gentle Care in Iowa City Iowa since moving here 5yrs ago and so would like a caring vet near.Since I now have become unable to get out [med.]recently I called and asked a very nice reception for a call back about our 14 year old dog who needs help with a pain med.[remember this is Randys vet].In tears she said nurse or doc. would get back to me.Not called again office- closed gave name for after hour clinic[did that once cost a fortune. Called back this A.M. different reception person asded if my call got misplaced and I still needed help Her reply was this is a busy doc.and probably did not want to give call backI I got very upset asking why no call backs for her clients My crying she said have a nice day you seem very nasty person and hung up phone on me last time we had to ask the Humane society to help us put two old animal friends asleep-----Had called the vet [Gentle care] to ask about cost [retired teacher of spec need students for 25 years]-The cost was way beyound means so off to Human Society] when we got our ashes back we realized she not only wanted money for office call cost to put animals but upped cost for giving ashes back Help 1 Janice Lyons
