Product Development Engineer

Our client in the medical equipment manufacturing sector located near Foxborough MA is seeking a Product Development Engineer responsible for the electrical design of low power devices and real-time software for embedded systems. Responsible for working with external design and development partners to create detailed electrical and software specifications and requirements detailed design files test plans risk management protocols and reports in accordance with company procedures FDA and ISO guidelines. Must have a strong knowledge of medical device product development in an FDA or ISO regulated environment experience with electrical safety testing and medical software life cycle processes. Any of the following is a plus Black Belt certification experience with x86 or ARM microprocessors PIC microcontroller and CPLD firmware device drivers real time embedded software experience electrical CAD software knowledge experience with low power RF technologies. Bachelor s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required. Master s degree is a strong plus. A minimum of five years related engineering experience in medical device product development from concept to completion. Competitive salary and benefits package. No relocation.
