Responsibilities Provide care and support to children Collaborate with classroom team to plan prepare and implement age appropriate activities which facilitate the social emotional physical and intellectual development of assigned children. Communicate directly with families and respond to their needs Provide daily written feedback and progress to the parents we serve Assist children with eating hand washing or diapering as needed Establish and maintain a clean safe and healthy environment Participate in staff meetings and center events as requested Promote and maintain a professional rapport with other staff members and families Maintain knowledge of and compliance with NECPA accreditation requirements and state licensing regulations Attend and participate in annual training Qualifications Ability and motivation to promote continuing improvement and education Effective verbal written and or interpersonal communication skills Preferred CPR and or pediatric first aid certification Early childhood degree or certificate Previous experience in a preschool setting Our management team at Abacus believes in nurturing talent and supporting their staff to learn and improve every step of the way.
