As a clinical services provider to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries Accelovance offers comprehensive services including management and implementation of Phase I-IV clinical trials patient recruitment retention solutions and a Clinical Call Center that can assist in recruitment retention long-term follow-up and post-marketing surveillance. The Sr. Manager Patient Recruitment is responsible for recruitment efforts aligned with both Accelovance CRO managed clinical trials as well as for those trials in which Accelovance s site network subsidiary Optimal Research SMO is participating. The Incumbent is responsible for establishing and implementing recruitment strategies across a number of therapeutic areas and studies to achieve individualized patient enrollment targets as well as lead strategies and initiatives to expand Accelovance and Optimal Research outreach efforts across patient populations. These recruitment efforts involve the generation of creative outreach and branding campaigns perseverance in the implementation and follow-up of these campaigns creation and review of metrics to manage campaign effectiveness and extensive utilization of technology and social media marketing communication tools. Primary Responsibilities Develops and implements recruitment strategies for identified studies. Develops strategy and implementation plans for expanding and managing patient recruitment databases aligned with Optimal Research. Develops strategy and budget for utilization of social media and technology to achieve maximum patient exposure. Analyzes issues and obstacles in recruitment to develop and improve new recruitment initiatives. Develops and implements recruitment plans with goals and timelines for recruitment within specific regions. May assist in protocol development in relation to participant recruitment goals and plans. Provides input for website development brochures letters and other recruitment materials. Develops and reviews standard operating procedures (SOPs) pertaining to recruitment activities. Establishes relationships with community leaders national agencies and voluntary groups supporting the needs of those clinical trial participants. Interacts with Accelovance s Contact Center and Patient Recruitment organizations Assesses incentives to engage the community to participate in research. Utilizes input and expertise to generate potential recruitment campaigns and assessments for select Sponsor proposals. Education Experience Certifications Demonstrated organization and time management skills Ability to think critically and creatively Ability to analyze both project and overall community recruitment needs Minimum 3 year experience recruiting participants for clinical research studies BS or BA in Marketing or Sciences preferred At least 5 years experience in the health sciences or clinical research Strong technology and social media orientation Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in written form) with multi-disciplinary groups and patients
