1946 Harley-Davidson KNUCKLEHEAD BOBBER WTITLE PANHEADFLATHEADSH

HARLEY DAVIDSON 1946FL KNUCKLEHEAD BOBBER WITH CLEAR TITLE. This is a great running 1946FL 4547 Knucklehead with a clear Virginia Title. It has Matching Belly Numbers 46-2592. It has original Flanders Handlebars with part of the sticker still on the bars. It has a 4 speed transmission that shifts well. The seat is a real Bates. The tires are old Super Eagles and they ride very rough. They should be replaced before riding very much. The parts I see that are aftermarket are Coil Horn Front Pipe Push Rod Covers Relay Bottom Plate Wiring Harness (correct) Taillight left side Gas Line Dash Cover and Top Motor Mount. These are the things I see but I may have missed something. The frame is a 1940 - early 1941 with a 28 degree Factory Bent Frame to accommodate the 16 Wheels in 1940 & 1941. The Springer Front End is an inline. The Linkert Carburetor is a M-35. The Flanders Bars have 6 risers. The bottom end seems tight and the heads look good. It has new V Twin Cylinders and Pistons in the Top End. The Headlight is old old Bates aftermarket. Once again the bike runs good but it rides rough and will need some tinkering before it hits the open road.
