Oklahoma State University Athletics Center is seeking applicants for the position of Producer Orange Power Studios. Assist in event and video production for the athletic department. Including but not limited to loading programing and running Daktronics Show Control during Athletic events working with individual sports to provide and create content to aid with their video needs planning and executing video shoots supporting live Athletic events maintaining working knowledge of control room equipment producing content to be used for the web television big screen programming and recruiting. Aid in training of students on control room equipment. Work schedule may extend beyond regular office hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday as needed to complete assignments. Most often work nights weekends and holidays to fulfill assigned duties. Exposed to all types of weather conditions the climbing of metal towers and to walk cat-walks at filming locations for athletic events. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field. One year of related experience. Advanced proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud especially Premiere After Effects and Photoshop. Advanced proficiency using professional editing software to produce both short and long form pieces. Proficiency in basic control room operations (technical directing CG operation video shading video routing etc). Experience using Daktronics software platforms specifically for display of real time data and animations. Demonstrated skills in live sports productions. Ability to work with freelance personal as well as work and teach production skills to student workers. Ability to produce content from concept to delivery both individually and as part of a team. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work irregular hours including nights weekends and holidays. Sports Broadcast Television production background. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Broadcast Journalism related field with Radio Television Film components. 3-5 years experience in graphic production as well as live production preferably sports at the university or professional level. Advanced proficiency in control room operations. Experience posting digital media online. Demonstrated ability in script writing and storytelling.
