We are looking for ..........Paramedics & EMT sMercy Ambulance is looking for medical professionals to provide committed medical care and transportation for a patient at the Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic) level within their scope of practice as stipulated by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) along with the specified contractual obligations agreed upon by the company.Physical Effort Physical demands including lifting climbing pushing stooping bending kneeling and crouching and otherwise maneuvering heavy patients with stretchers and equipment (at least 250 pounds). Additional RequirementsQualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or equivalency Valid driver s license and good driving record Consent to criminal background check Be able to pass the pre-employment testing including a complete physical and lifting agility examination along with a successful interview. Provide current immunization record. Paramedic certification required from the State of Michigan ACLS certified within 90 days of hire. PALS and TNCC preferred. Required Licenses & Certifications Paramedic license CPR card ACLS certification valid Michigan Driver s license any other certifications as required by Medical Control and State of MichiganMercy Ambulance offers career possibilities as a medical first responder basic EMT and paramedic. In addition we staff an ambulance dispatch center 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
