One of our well established banking client is looking for Help Desk Analyst (Financial Reporting Essbase Banking) Duration Month to Month with strong possibility of turning into a full time opportunity Work Location Toronto ON Job Description The Production Support Analyst is accountable for First Line support functions related to the Chief Accountant s group. The role facilitates problem resolution by Second Line Support personnel including external parties on behalf of the user community where necessary. Communication to the user community is another key aspect of the role. The Production Analyst will act as the liaison for CAG end users and T& O in order to provide support and to resolve issues. Duties - financial Helpdesk type role - triaging to SMEs on the software issues - password resets for internal customer base - set-up new users profile set-up - some basic reporting issues- IT expertise would be an asset. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS a) Knowledge 1-3 years experience in Information Management or related fields Strong PC skills (MS Word Excel Powerpoint) Knowledge of CAG applications and reporting tools (Essbase Peoplesoft) Knowledge of the Bank s financial applications and systems from a business perspective Awareness of risk and regulatory issues and their impact on the business group Accounting designation preferred (CA CMA CGA)b) Skills - Essbase reporting very big asset. - Excel macros pivot tables V-lookup- Previous helpdesk experience - Experience in financial services banking would be a major asset. - Accounting knowledge would be useful- Working towards a financial designation would be an asset. - Looking for great comm. skills- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly- Highly organized able to manage multiple priorities- Strong communications skills listening verbal and written - Excellent interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail with analytic skills- Energetic innovative and resourceful - experience working with tracking software (logging tickets)WORKING CONDITIONS The working environment is fast paced with firm timelines. The role and the group provides support to a highly critical business group with inflexible deadlines and a high level of pressure to produce outputs. This service (support) also involves extended hours of service during critical timelines generally quarterly.
