ActiveVOS Sr Developer Architect

We are seeking a Java Developer with ActiveVOS experience to lead the java development (frontend) and architecture (backend) build of a Business Intelligence (BI) Data Warehouse (DW) solutions for our Telecommunications clients. The ActiveVOS Java Developer will assist our client to deliver code as part of BIDW solution. The role is to lead the development and architecture build of the BIDW solution.Activities include architecture design java development interpretation of technical and functional business requirements defect and issue resolution and continuous tuning of the new data warehouse solution. This individual will also analyze and resolve solution issues with user interface in a timely and accurate fashion for any solution implementations delivered and or maintained on behalf of our clients. The ActiveVOS Java Developer will document engineering standards and proposals recommendations for next-generation technology solution services designs technology solutions assist in the development of project teams work with other solution architects engineers technical staff to conceptualize the overall solution and develop implement next-generation technology solutions for our clients research evaluate and recommend new tools technologies and assess emerging solutions and next generation technologies assist with developing and build solutions Develop and build the solution QA and test the application solution and developing publishing whitepapers and points-of-view. Key responsibilities may include o Design develop and deploy business processes orchestrated in BPEL using ActiveVOS o Leading the ActiveVOS Java development and data architecture build of a BIDW solution o Coding quickly and efficiently in a very fast paced environment o Deploying and building code for the ActiveVOS Platform o Participating in all phases of the lifecycle including design architecture development testing support and documentation o Coding troubleshooting tuning of new analytics solution before released for deployment o Validating and troubleshooting tier 3 support issues reported and providing information to the development team to assist in resolution o Working in Test Driven Development & working within a QA org Continuous integration building deploying modules o Working closely with Quality Assurance Data Architect and Business Analyst teams to resolve test defects and solution issues o Experience in the entire new product service introduction life cycle including design development and maintenance of a commercial product o Work with business users to understand how the data is used for sales reporting and provide ideas of how to continually improve the system o Proactive and always looking for ways to do things better and be more efficient Education and Certifications o Bachelor s degree and or College Equivalent (Preferred Engineering Comp-Sci or Business degrees) Technical Skills and Requirements o Minimum 2 years of ActiveVOS Java development professional experience o Previous consulting experience preferred or client service delivery experience preferred o Proven ability to work in a team environment and ability to build manage and foster a team-oriented environment and client relationships o Proven track record of ActiveVOS Java development including accurate technical & functional requirement interpretation solid understanding of architecture design building code and issue & risk management o Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills o Understanding of Infrastructure Software Development and or Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology o Exposure to one or more of the following industries Telecommunications o Ability to adapt and develop solutions on-the-fly with clients prospects and work independently o High degree of interpersonal skills proven ability to work well in team settings o Desire to work in entrepreneurial environment o Excellent leadership management and organizational skills o Proficiency in verbal and written communications (including presentation skills) and interpersonal skills o Confident and comfortable interacting with people in various disciplines and at various levels of an organization o Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment and ability to quickly process and work with complex information o Expertise with Java Javascipt JavaScript AngularJS Hibernate SQL development (optional) o Experience with Unix (ex Bash Cshell KShell or Pearl) scripting language (optional) o Proficiency with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Service (optional) o Familiarity in application performance tuning Be fluent in spoken and written English language
