Volunteer Program Leader Home Fire Preparedness Campaign

Are you interested in overseeing a short-term project that will make a real difference Do you enjoy working with partnering organizations Are you able to organize and lead volunteers Then we have the job for you Launch the national Home Fire Preparedness Campaign for our region and help save hundreds of lives You will be meeting and collaborating with local fire departments and stakeholders all the while maintaining ongoing communication. Planning and implementing the local program to reach the target audience with working smoke alarms and safety education. Recruiting training managing and recognizing volunteers. Organizing and canvassing events pre-event outreach notification and promotion for home visits. Ensuring that all documentation is completed and all reports filed. Completing campaign evaluation and including local stakeholders in the evaluation process. Time Commitment Approximately ten hours per week working remotely and on-site for three months prior to project. The ideal person will be able work with other volunteers partner groups and clients and have a passion for emergency preparedness.
