Same but different

We are alike in many ways but at the same time we are different and unique. Yes we are all human sharing many human traits and functions. We all share the fact that we are a creation of God. Many try to deny this to no avail. For instance we also are different in that we have fingerprints and DNA that are unique. We carry these differences and similarities everywhere we go even into the body of Christ. Beyond basic beliefs there is much divergence disagreement etc. I often wonder why. Is it part of God s plan Jesus did say He came to bring division in Luke 12 51. Is that what He was referring to Our differences become evident when pertinent scriptures are studied on this topic. Example Romans 12 4-9 1 Corinthians 3 5-15 4 7 7 7 12 1-31 1 Peter 4 10. Revelation 4 11 Thou art worthy O Lord to receive glory and honour and power for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created. [All humans are part of Gods creation. Would He get any pleasure out of us if we were all created the same (like robots) How many have actually pleased Him lately Might be a couple of things to think about]. There is no way we can all be doing the same thing in our journeys as Christians. Beyond the basics many of us believe very differently. We each are different. We have different learning abilities likes and dislikes different levels of understanding reading and comprehension skills etc. Using Concordances and Commentaries is just one step in the journeys of some Christians. Other steps come after this one maybe some never make it to this step and others may never need this step (use of Concordances and Commentaries). Sadly some never make it to the first step. Regardless of where you are it is all part of God s plan in that you can trust. But we have each been given different gifts to be used in different ways. Our goal is the same to hopefully aid in bringing all to repentance leading others towards God and not away from Him. There is no need to try and be someone else. It is best to try and figure out what the gifts are God has given you and then take full advantage of those gifts. Do God s will not your will. Study the Bible diligently. Seek Him in His word and learn His will for you
