I purchased this cory on March 25th. There s nothing wrong with her it s just that I was looking for all males in my group of corys because I don t want to deal with any breeding in my tank. I would ve kept her if I had a sorority but I don t quite have room for one yet. I m looking to give her to someone who will take good care of her. Either someone who has a sorority or a community tank in general or are looking to breed cories. Since corys will die of loneliness that s why I want her to be with others of her kind with someone who already has cories or are looking to get a group of cories. She s about 2 inches long and she s quite shy. That s typical for her kind. She was getting pretty friendly with my peppered cory so that s why I ve removed her and put her in my hospital tank for the time being. Cory catfish eat wood green plants and algae. They re tropical fish so they need a heater and a good sized tank. Cories are perfect algae eaters and they re just entertaining fish to watch in general. They are bottom feeders so they are armored (as catfish are) and have venomous spikes. They are docile so they will not attack your other fish but if any fish attempt to attack them they will be perfectly fine. Those with bettas (either singular male bettas or sororities) love having cories in their tank because they can handle the occasional attacks from bettas when they become defensive but won t lash out on your bettas in return. If you re looking for a small algae eater and you re looking for another cory to add to your group then this cory will be a perfect addition to your tank.
