This is a 9-day course designed for Internationally Educated Nurses to enable them to pass the OSCE established and to be administered by CNO.This course has lecture and laboratory components.IT has the lecture component that emphasizes the various practice standards guidelines professional boundaries nad ethical responsibilities of nurses in Canada. The lecture covers selected topics on the human body systems pathophysiology mental health and physical assessment. The lecture includes small group discussions multiple choice questions and case studies to enhamce comprehension and critical thinking.The second component is the practical component which focuses on theoritical application health teaching documentation therpeutic communication and nursing process.
