Process Technician

Main Responsibility Manage the performance quality efficiency and reliability of all blow molding machines in the Extrusion Blow Molding Department Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all assigned machines are operating safely efficiently and reliably according to recommended operating guidelines Ensure quality product is being produced at all times Ensure process is optimized to the fullest extent Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before being put into machine Monitor and report inconsistencies in above areas for all shifts not worked Should be able to make minor repairs to molders Assist the Production Manager in implementing required training for Machine Operators Supervising orderliness cleanliness and working order of the assigned machines and tools Experience Preferred Extrusion Blow Molding Experienced in either Toolmaking mechanic or electric electronic systems Qualification Skills Able to work in Team environment Able to train technical personnel Effectively manages time as a resource gives balanced attention to appropriate long-term and short-term priorities Must have flexible work availability Ability to prioritize plan and execute duties with minimal supervision Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 10 hours ALPLA is a leader in technology in Plastic Bottle manufacturing offering our clients innovative products at the highest quality level.
