Horn Ridge Ranch is looking for a Livestock Farm Foreman to work in their Evansburg Alberta location. Reporting to the Farm Owner and Manager the ideal candidate should have the following traits -Experience in beef and dairy cattle raising is an asset. -Must be able to work in physically demanding job and cold weather. -Must be able to work with flexibility and long hours. The successful candidate will work flexible hours (day evening night and weekend). The company offers 17.50 hour for a minimum 40 hours a week. Must be able to speak and read English some high school preferred. Additional Skills Develop work schedules and establish procedures Maintain quality control and production records Maintain livestock performance records Train and supervise farm workers. Job Duties includes Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Supervise breeding programs and harvest operations Perform general farm duties Formulate feeding program Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs Recognize and treat certain livestock health problems.
