Mechanic s Special Last of the Tanks by Mercedes Benz S-Class 500SEL Im a previous dealer and this is one of the last cars from my inventory. This car I m in a little over 10 000 paid 6 000 for car. I bought it for my father who had a few before but every time I came to visit the car was just sitting. Hardly drove it. Prior to me giving it to him. I had dumped all kinds of money at it. When it was bought it had a misfire & since I ve had many of these cars my mechanic & I know the common issues. We replaced Engine wire harness all caps rotors wires plugs injectors and still had a miss. Took it in to the dealer & was told the timing chain guide had broken & caused the timing to jump a tooth so pretty much it needed a new top-end. Instead I decided to put a new motor in it with 70K on it and on my car has 135k. Car drove like a dream was smogged and after it sitting for a bit I came to drive it and when I put the car in reverse it took a few seconds to kick in gear so I believe the transmission is going to give and I m not going to change it I did find some for around 700 and that was my first search if you find cheaper then great if not i can forward the number. 209 818 9090 2 350 Mechanic s Special Last of the Tanks by Mercedes Benz S-Class 500SEL
