Business Development Consultant Project Manager Credo seeks a curious high energy well-spoken higher education professional to join a business development and project management team. This position is part of a firm-wide business development team responsible for the implementation of the sales engine at Credo with targeted support responsibilities for one of two Senior Vice Presidents Dr. Joretta Nelson. While the position is built with a majority focus on business development and sales this individual will carry a portfolio of high-level project management responsibilities as well. This individual will work primarily with Dr. Nelson in developing the sales strategies related to targeted clients assist in the client interactions leading to a sale and manage all proposal development sales follow up and next-step strategies. In addition this individual will manage a portfolio of comprehensive projects as needed primarily in direct assistance to the Senior Vice President but across the firm as capacity will allow. While the position reports to Dr. Nelson it includes a dotted line of reporting to the Chief Brand Officer who carries overarching sales engine responsibilities. Responsibilities demand experience in and an inclination toward exceptional customer service including outstanding communication abilities (written and verbal) managing support and interaction with a range of clients from administrative assistants and faculty to presidents and external experts in the field. The ideal candidate will enjoy and demonstrate skills in investigative research related to clients their potential their realities and their inclinations. At the same time the position demands an ability to manage comprehensive often very complex consulting projects with multiple clients simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in delivering results on time working in a fast-paced high-energy environment. The position requires monthly travel both a willingness to do so and a readiness to manage work-load along with travel responsibilities. Preference will be given to the candidates with a good sense of humor a joy for learning and a deep passion for the difference higher education makes in the world.
