Plant Manager Prince George - Job ID 2102 Position Overview Oversee all plant operations including production and capacity planning facility maintenance ensure quality standards are met evaluate performance and identify training needs and administer company safety policy. Responsibilities Leadership responsibilities for the safe operation of the plant Plant P& L responsibility ensuring business objectives in relation to budget for all operational expenditures are met Foster a team building and collaborative work environment for all employees Plan organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower equipment facilities materials and capital Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customers expectations Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis depending on need Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees positive involvement with opportunity for constructive input and action Responsible for coaching and mentoring of all staff Manage & provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives focus on both costs and driving customer satisfaction Drive Customer Satisfaction by interfacing with customers in order to resolve any quality or delivery issues required Ensure all equipment and machines are working effectively and address repairs and replacements as needed Participate in daily Production and Quality Process review meetings and ensure that departments are following schedules and implement corrective action to prevent schedule deviations in order to meet prescribed deadlines.
