Youngstown Ohio area company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer (or Mechanical Engineer) with mechanical engineering experience detailing or designing heavy industrial large scale machinery. 3D AutoCAD Inventor proficiency is needed (other 3D CAD skills will be considered) REQUIREMENTSAssociate or Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineering (ASME BSME) 2 years experience using AutoCAD Inventor (other 3-D CAD will be considered) Detailing structural steel platforms hand rails stairs machinery foundations trusses columns girders Detailing large steel (heavy industry) processing equipment such as hot & cold rolling mills stone aggregate grinders crushers copper & steel metal processing casting equipment cranes blast furnaces rail cars feeders trolleys Experienced with heavy machine design (steel mill equipment and overhead crane preferred) Proficient with 3-D FEA structural analysis and design software such as Staad and ALGOR is a plus Concept design development and interpretation of solid FEA models and stress analysis is a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer usage in a network environment.
