The School of Educational Foundations Leadership and Aviation within the College of Education Health and Aviation at Oklahoma State University is seeking an Assistant Associate Professor in Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA). The start date is August 1 2018. The successful candidate will engage in scholarly activity teach graduate courses primarily in the College Student Development (CSD) program serve as leader of the CSD program and have the opportunity to apply for the Anderson Farris and Halligan College Student Development Professorship. Additional responsibilities will include supervising graduate students and serving as a resource to the school college and university. A normal teaching load is generally five courses per nine-month academic year. This position is assigned to the Stillwater campus however HESA faculty may also teach on the Tulsa campus and in an online or hybrid delivery format. Minimum qualifications Ph.D. Ed.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs or a closely related field. A record of scholarly productivity commensurate with the candidate s level of experience and potential for excellence in teaching. Candidates will have expertise in theory and practice related to college student development as well as a demonstrated interest in the university s land grant mission and a desire to make a positive impact on the community through scholarship teaching and service.
