I know God exists

Many deny God exists. I believe God exists. In fact I know God exists I have known that pretty much my whole life (I m 64 years old) I ve never felt it necessary to question His existence. If the non-believer were to ask me why I believe in God could I answer in an intelligent and easy to understand manner Hmm I could quote some scripture. I m pretty sure that would only encourage more questions as to why I believe in the first place. At present I m not sure I could come up with a believable answer. Maybe I should ask them can you prove He doesn t exist No they couldn t. A better question might be why do you choose to believe He doesn t exist If they actually knew and were truthful with their answer that would be very revealing indeed. Right now I believe a truthful answer would involve not wanting to be accountable to Him for their past and present actions. So the actual point would be accountability to Him not whether He exists or not. Many try to avoid this point but believers embrace it they look forward to it. Hmm If someone denies that God exists does that mean He doesn t exist Why do so many go to so much trouble to deny God exists when they claim to think He doesn t exist in the first place I think the answer to this is eventual accountability to Him not His existence. If God exists then we are accountable to Him for our actions. If God does not exist then we can do whatever we want without having to worry about God judging us. In any case how can I explain I know He exists in a believable manner What could I say that would at least start to make someone think that God does exist I m pretty sure this is something I would like to be able to do plant a seed of truth so to speak. Can this even be done Should I even attempt it Can a fervent denier of God s existence be persuaded to change I know this I do have the desire at present to try and come up with a good answer always. 1 Peter 3 15 [This verse tells us to be ready to give an answer always when we are questioned by any man. We are to do it humbly and with reverence to Him]. After thoughts Why do some believe in Him Why do many not believe in Him Could the differing beliefs be part of God s plan See the next verse. 2 Thessalonians 2 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie [Deluded for their own protection Possibly]. This is much to think and pray on for sure. It certainly appears to me as I think this through that accountability and protection are the answers as of now. In my opinion many avoid the true issue of personal accountability to God and try to redirect believers thoughts and answers away from this point. Sometimes anger and intimidation are used to press a point. Scoffing at a believer is a common tactic used among some non-believers also. Does it really make any difference though None at all. God still exists everyone is accountable to Him in the end He s in control He s eternal and a mere human opinion can t change that.
