Clinical Medical Assistant certification will test you on the knowledge of ekg technician certification which includes the knowledge of 12 lead ekg 15 lead ekg holters monitoring telemetry monitoring and many more the candidate should also be able to apply electrodes on the patient as this is the main requirements while on job another skills that a patient care technician certification would have is the phlebotomy technician certification skills which would include evacuated method syringe method winged infusion capillary tube bleeding time & glucose testing candidate should also have a knowledge of urinalysis and blood smear. Last sets of skills required by a Clinical Medical Assistant certification would be the Clinical Medical Assistant skills like handling medical records taking vital signs like blood pressure temperature respiratory rate and radial pulse . All this skills combined can make a candidate eligible for the national certification career association Clinical Medical Assistant exam.
