Assistant Professor of Flute

Teach undergraduate and graduate applied flute courses in flute techniques literature and pedagogy. Additional teaching assignments will be made according to the successful candidate s expertise and may include undergraduate and graduate level courses or courses for non-majors. In addition to instruction all music faculty are expected to be productive as scholars artists and to engage in departmental university and professional service. Rank and salary Assistant Professor (tenure track). Salary commensurate with qualifications contingent upon funding availability. Beginning date of assignment Aug 16 2018. Qualifications Master s Degree required. Doctorate degree preferred. Candidates without doctorate must document equivalent experience and expertise including evidence of significant performance and teaching experience. Preference given to applicants with a record of successful recruiting.
