Sr. Application Developer

Involves the development implementation & maintenance of Enterprise Administrative Information systems for the OSU A& M system. Team-Oriented Application Development - Plan develop test and document computer programs applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. Project Leadership - Lead multiple projects from initial assignment through completion. Technical Support - Provide technical support to system users and Software Services management staff as required for problem investigation and resolution requirement definition implementation training documentation system evolution system improvement conversion and other tasks as assigned. Independently pursue skill development activities including but not limited to training provided by the IT Division seminars manuals periodicals and technical reports. Due to communication expectations of the position the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent s salary includes additional compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device. Required qualifications Bachelor s degree in MIS Computer Science or other related field. 5 years of related experience.
