Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre History and Dramatic Lit

The Oklahoma State University Department of Theatre is currently experiencing growth and expansion and seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre History and Dramatic Literature for the 2018-2019 academic year to start August 16 2018. This is a non-tenure track nine month position responsible for teaching courses in theatre history dramatic literature and introduction to theatre and fulfilling service activities in support of the department. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials. A successful faculty candidate will be able to teach from a multicultural perspective and be willing to mentor ethnically and racially underrepresented students. Qualifications a terminal degree in Theatre with graduate courses in history and literature successful university teaching evidence of scholarly achievement and additional skills and expertise to aid in departmental expansion.
