We are currently seeking Electricians to join the Wesbell team. The successful candidates will be responsible for all A C electrical work to support the installation of telecommunication equipment. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include 1. Overseeing required inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Standards Act. 2. Read and interpret drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations. 3. Install examine replace or repair electrical wiring distribution switches breaker panels conduits 1 2 EMT install fire alarm components teck cable and service cables. 4. Any other assigned and related tasks as directed Education (Theoretical Training) 1. Licensed Electrician ( 309 A ) Job Requirements & Experience 1. Must have a minimum 2 year experience in the electrical field 2. Must be able to read and follow blueprints 3. Ability to take measurements using high voltage testing equipment 4. Ability to use formulas from the Electrical Code (ESA) to determine sizes of cables needed when sizes of services and the lengths of cable runs are known. 5. Ability to use Greenlee hydraulic benders work with Teck Cable 1 2 EMT installs Fire Alarm experience an asset. 6. Understand and work within the ESA Electrical Codes. 7. Take direction and implement tasks as distributed by supervisor 8. Must be a self starter able to work under minimal supervison at times 9. Maintain the highest degree of safety compliance above and beyond Wesbell s health and safety policies 10. Must be a reliable workers with good attendance record 11. Ability to work independently as well as work in a team setting. 12. Must have a strong command of the English language both verbal and written 13.
