The Grant Manager of the State Rehabilitation Council reports directly to the Executive Committee of the Council and the Oklahoma State University Department of Wellness Assistant Director of Sponsored Programs and supports all members in the performance of their duties. The overall goal of this position is to assure that members have the information relationships and direct support necessary to fulfill the Council s purposes under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as Amended. Further is responsible for planning and implementing program functions operational procedures budget preparation and fiscal management. Yes extensive travel required (mainly in-state). Work schedule may extend beyond 8 00a to 5 00p occasionally. This Department of Wellness Sponsored Programs (Grants) position will be officed in Oklahoma City OK. Minimum qualifications Bachelor s degree in Education Management Communication Rehabilitation or related field. 5 years of experience working with a state advisory council or equivalent experience. Good interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills including typing. Basic Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel computer capability required before hire. Ability to formulate and implement action plans and manage operation budgets. Sufficient knowledge of the Rehabilitation Act Open Meetings Act and other relevant laws and state regulations to assist the Council in determining and fulfilling its obligations.
