An Akron area manufacturer of industrial equipment components is seeking a mechanical designer to replace a retiring employee. The successful candidate must have hands-on SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience in mechanical machinery applications to include the ability to generate assemblies details bills of material etc. This position is best suited for an individual seeking an opportunity to have a personal impact while working in a small team environment. REQUIREMENTS Associate degree or technical school certificate Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD in mechanical applications Working knowledge of fits finishes and the generation maintenance of BOMs Ability to organize and execute work with minimal supervision Well-developed written verbal communication skills and a friendly professional demeanor Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
