SUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for our client in Battle Creek Michigan. This person will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality according to plant food quality and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have understanding of manufacturing processes and experience with NIR equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and validate different components of the products Schedule and coordinate testing frequencies to determine the quality of the product Supervise and embrace the role of the Quality Assurance Manager in their absence Maintain and monitor moisture analysis equipment Operate and monitor Laboratory and NIR Equipment Assist Quality Manager in maintaining and improving product quality Manage performance of Quality Technicians QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s Degree in Science Required (Food Science Biological or Chemical Engineering Preferred) Understanding of manufacturing processes GMPs food safety GLPs statistics and lab techniques Required Knowledge of SPC Required Knowledge of and be able to use NIR equipment - Required 3 years of food product experience Preferred 2 years of supervisory experience Preferred MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
