Here is buddy he is a 2year old Male African Grey Parrot . He is a lovely bird with a good temperament although i have to point out that he does prefer females to males.. he talks sings whistle ( a lot ) .. I purchased him from a guy in Liverpool and went to collect him a few months ago when I arrived he had him on his arm and was playing around with him so I thought nothing more of it .. Now here is the important part ..After getting him home and settled after a few days I noticed that although he is chirpy lively and seemed like a normal Parrot he wasn t really moving around his cage exploring very much .. so I started to watch him closely and did get a little worried I have to say... Don t get me wrong here .. he is responsive to noises and vocal sounds but for some reason wouldn t focus on anything in particular.. then I noticed that his eyes were were not dilating at all .. so I took him to Chine House Vets in Loughborough Who have a specialised avian vet for more investigation... It turns out that he has no sight at all .. which is a massive blow considering the amount of money I paid for him .. now the sad part is I can now no longer keepHim due to a change in my work schedule I am now going to be away from home a lot more so have decided that he needs a good home to go to where he has company all day with someone who can give him all the attention he deserves ... This is a very reluctant sale and I must insist that he does go to a caring home ... if you have any questions please feel free to contact me
