Safety Manager - Salem OH - Job 18-00014 Salary 45 000 to 60 000 Permanent Position with Benefits Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A Salem based manufacturer of heavy industrial equipment is seeking an experienced safety manager to coordinate the safety activities of multiple field offices and oversee safe work practices at project sites. The successful candidate must be fully versed in OSHA BWC TPA evaluations drug free workplace and insurance requirements documentation. The safety manager will be responsible for standardizing safety policies and procedures throughout the company to include the creation maintenance of all safety documentation coordination of training etc. This role will require strong verbal and written communication skills the ability to interact with company associates at all levels and the capability to travel in a tri-state area as needed. REQUIREMENTS Undergraduate degree (experienced candidates with an associate degree will be considered) Demonstrated experience with implementing and maintaining a standardized safety program Experience with OSHA documentation BWC third party administrator evaluations and insurance requirements Ability to organize delegate and oversee company safety training Well-developed written verbal communication skills Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
